Relaxation

Relaxation massage calms the nervous system, promoting a sense of well-being, improving blood circulation and stimulating the body’s lymphatic system, which carries away waste products.

Hot Stone

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they work on other areas. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

BOOK NOW

Deep Tissue Treatment Massage

This massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia and also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or adhesions in the muscle belly. This is an excellent choice when facing chronic and acute pain.

BOOK NOW

Neuromuscular

By definition, Neuromuscular Therapy is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system. Trigger point therapy and myofascial release can help reduce muscle spasm.

BOOK NOW

Cupping

Through either heat or suction, the skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the body to help treat pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue, muscle knots, and swelling.

BOOK NOW

Essential Oil Therapy

Because essential oils contain many different healing properties, each oil used in the Aroma Touch Technique has been selected specifically for its individual therapeutic benefit and aroma…addresses common negative factors that influence health and helps the body return to a state of homeostasis…stimulates known body meridians and energy zones while balancing body systems and function.

BOOK NOW

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it’s also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. We offer special pillows to accommodate your belly, and your breasts as well, so you can lie facedown. If you find this position stresses your lower back, or is uncomfortable, you can lie on your side with pillows, wedges, or a full-length body pillow for support.

Reiki

Reiki Dr. Mikao Usui developed (received the method during a meditation) and taught this natural healing art in Japan. Reiki, or, “Universal Life Force,” is directed through the Practitioner (an Energy conduit), to the receiver’s body. This will do no harm. Specific hand positioning, on or off the body, helps direct the flow where it needs to go for your Best Possible Outcome: a balanced Spirit, Mind, and Body.

Access Bars

Access Bars is a gentle hands-on modality. The Bars® are 32 unique points on the head that correlate to different areas and aspects of life. During a session, a practitioner gently touches these points to release the electromagnetic charge of all thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions, and beliefs that may have limited you in the concerned life areas. In an Access Bars session, the primary element is of receiving. What is most often reported is that there is a sense of complete relaxation.

BOOK NOW

Manual Lymph Drainage

A therapeutic massage treatment using very light, rhythmic strokes to increase flow and direct fluids. Lymph bathes almost every cell. It hauls away metabolic debris. It plays a key role in the immune system, fluid dynamics, and absorption of fats and fat-soluble nutrients. Keto, anyone? Such an important system deserves a treatment. You might even relax for an hour.

BOOK NOW

Fascia Blasting

Breaking fascial adhesions with fascial blasting tools. Working that fascial lining effects the strengthening of your muscles because they aren’t locked down anymore.

BOOK NOW

Cranial Sacral

A gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch (generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel) practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction. By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body’s ability to self-correct, CranioSacral Therapy is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke and neurological impairment.

Testimonials

What Clients are Saying

Getting a massage from Crystal is an exquisite experience! She really creates a healing environment and uses many different techniques to address anything that ails you. She worked on me all through my pregnancy and is still my favorite massage therapist. I just love how intuitive and responsive she is and she offers great feedback and suggestions to take care of my body between sessions. She is such a warm, compassionate person and I always feel so pampered and relaxed after seeing her!

– Sharon Balsamo

I travel most of the year with no home base and find ALL my massage therapists on yelp. I chose Halcyon because of the stellar reviews and messages immediately. Based on what I read, I tried to book with Crystal, but she was full and referred me to Jennifer. I am so glad Crystal was booked! Jennifer was the perfect massage therapist for me. She has such a beautiful way with her intuition… and that intuition coupled with her knowledge of the physical body, my 90 minute massage was 10 out of 10! It was so great. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town and I’ve already told some locals clients how amazing my massage was. Highly recommend!
